So I really like making birthday cakes for my boys for their birthday's but sometimes, I just have no idea what to do. This year Kaden asked me to make him a cake with Anakin and Obi-Won fighting (like they do in Star Wars III - Kaden has not seen number III which is why I think he has a fascination with it. Gregg and I both think it is just too evil and scary for the boys, maybe when they are older). So all I could think to do is make it like they are fighting on the volcano.....um okay...whatever! This is what we came up with.
As you can see it is well, not so good. Anyway, after I was finished I don't think Kaden was too impressed either. He told me after this was finished he wanted me to make Anakin and Obi-Won out of the frosting!? I don't know what artist he is thinking I am but I guess I am flattered!
Oh well....another one bites the dust! :(

I think the cakes looks super yummy... I wish I had some cake to eat right now.
as always - a great job. i don't know how on earth you would sculpt them out of frosting! you would have to use lot of fondant and about 50+ hours of your life!
I think it's a fabulous looking Star Wars cake. And I bet it was delicious too!
