The boys are always asking me to have a lemonade stand. So today I promised them we could have one. I had made cookies the night before and told them they could sell them too. Jaxon had a little heartburn about this because he chose for me to make the peanut butter cookies (his favorite choice of the moment). But I promised I would make more, than he was more than willing. Notice the sign, he put 'NEW' next to the cookies. Gregg asked what that was for and Jaxon said it was because he had not sold his Mom's peanut butter cookies before, he has only sold chocolate chip and oreo. Well I guess he was right.....
Oh by the way, they came and asked me how to get customers. I suggested to ride their bikes around (in the 100 degree weather) and shout punch and cookies. He informed me they already tried that. So they ended up packing up the stroller (we don't have a wagon--although Kaden suggested we could buy one for a dollar at the dollar store) taping the sign to the front and went door to door! They made $7.60....I am not quite sure how the extra .10 came into it. But Kaden said they had the funnest time of their life! My boys are not dramatic or anything! They have said they are going to do it again and save up the money for Lagoon! I am sure Gregg is so excited....I am sure he is going to try to eat the next batch before they are sold!

That is too cute. Don't you just love kids and their ambition/zero fear of humiliation?
Ask me to go selling cookies door to door...no thanks! But kids, it's the best time of their life! Cute post.
