Confessions of a Candy Thief

So I am (for some strange reason I still haven't figured out) the Primary chorister in my ward. And let me tell you how much I have to talk myself into this wonderful calling each and every week. It is just fantastic to sit up there every week after week and be a cheerleader trying to get these kids to sing. Some weeks it is great others I am totally solo all afternoon (and I don't have a great voice either).
Our adorable Primary President is just as bubbly as they come. She prepares a little chocolate treat for all of the Primary substitutes each week. They are housed in a little tupperware see through container. She saw me eying them one week and mentioned to me what they were for. She also generously offered to me that if I ever wanted one to go ahead and take one.....she needed them often herself. Well, far be it from me to say no to a chocolate offer! So almost every Sunday I have helped myself (of course trying to be sly about it). Mind you I have only taken one at a time, but this has gone on for quite a while. So a few weeks ago when I saw the little container missing I thought nothing of it. But week after week the little container quickly got put away. So this week I got the hint, I brought my own! I felt really stupid in the back of the room snacking on the oh so irresistable candy corns now available in grocery stores (yummy!). The Primary President casually comes over and in a round about way asks if I am hypoglicemic. NOPE! Just a candy junky. How embarrasing they have hidden the candy container from me! I guess I wasn't so sly after all!

From one candy junkie to another...enjoy those candy corns!

p.s.- if you're interested I have the funnest idea for singing time. It's this super fun activity with baking soda, vinegar and food coloring (sounds messy, I know, but it's not too bad) and the kids love it! Let me know if you want the details...:)

I have so much to catch up on! I have been so out of touch in the blogging world lately. Gregg just came and asked me if I had seen your blog lately and sadly had to say no. The last entry I read was the Jedi Knight...ho hum.
Carrie that story is hillareous and sounds like something that I would do and get caught. LOL! I am going to have to read up more on what has been happening with you later. My life is just crazy these days and I have missed reading about what you are up to. :) Rhonda - I don't care...and besides, noone eats as much as Niall. *wink wink*
