Could you say accident prone? Well our little Kaden is definately that. The poor little guy, he broke both his radius and ulna on his right arm in June. He was in a cast for 6 weeks and a splint for 1 week. Then he got it off July 23rd. And wouldn't you know it, he broke both bones again on Wednesday. This time they were worse. The first time he broke them he was riding his scooter. This time he fell off a 3 foot slide on the kindergarten playground, the ones with squishy bottoms!!! I don't know about this kid!
I do know however that this kid is one of the toughest kids I know. He of course cried when he did it, but shortly there after no more tears! I wanted to cry for him. They had to put him to sleep to have the Orthopedic docs put his bones back in place. OUCH!!
Boys are so weird.....as I am sitting here typing I am over hearing Kaden talk to his friend Hayden. He says how do you do it? Kaden says what? Hayden says how do you break your arm? I want to do it! Once again, I guess it is just a boy thing???!

Kaden:
I was so sorry to hear of your accident. What a tough dude to brake your arm and only cry a little bit! Man if I did that I would be crying like a baby for three days! We will have to go get a round of Bug Juice to see if it will help your arm heal faster.
Gregg and Carie if there is any thing DeEtte and I can do to help you during this difficult time please let us know.
i cannot believe it happened again! really, what are the chances. i am glad he is not sad and is doing so well.
i hope you are all well and that this is the last trip to primary children's for LONG, LONG time!
Ugh! I can definitely feel your pain (and Kaden's) on this one! My Liv just got her cast off 2 weeks ago and I am just worried sick that she's going to re-brake it. Supposedly it's very common, right? She too has already broken the same arm twice and I'm certainly not hoping for a third!
The whole scenario with the Ortho resetting the bones in the arm is CRAZY! Gives me a stomach ache just thinking about it. Chris watched the whole time and I had to turn my head. Eeek!
So sorry for poor Kaden. Hope you can survive round 2!
that picture of Kaden says it all, the break looks awful that is one tough boy
