How do they get the cream in??!

Well I don't know how they get the cream in it.....but Zeke sure knows how to get it out. Today he started on the left side of the Twinkie and after one fairly large (I am only guessing here) bite there was not enough cream in it. So what a problem solver I have.......dig your finger in where you see it DUH! So brilliant at such a young age! What a problem solver I have on my hands!

To Change or not to Change.......

that is the question.
Well not to change for now. Things have been so hectic around here. Getting Gregg ready for a new job, getting Gregg not ready for a new job. Yes, Gregg had a new job. He took it with major nervous feelings. He usually feels that way whenever there is change to be had, so he didn't think much of it. But the closer it got to start the worse it was. Bottom line, he didn't feel good about it. There are somethings we will never know why, but one thing I have learned for sure you should follow your feelings especially once you have honestly prayed about it. Gregg did, but was so torn with the raise we had been hoping for, and the safety of his current job (one of 10 years). So for now it is not to change. We will deal with whatever happens next. It is not always the money, it is the safety and security you feel where you are.

6 Quirks Tag

Okay, so I have never played along with the tagging thing. Mostly because well I guess I don't really have any friends to play tag with. But my sister tagged me so I guess I will play.

Please play along and I guess I tag back the first (probably only) 6 readers!?!

1. I hate it when the roll of the toilet paper is put on wrong. Mostly because I am the dork who can't pick up the paper when it sticks itself to the side of the cabinet.

2. It really bugs me when the toothpaste is squeezed in the middle of the tube.

3. I HATE morning breath. If Gregg wants to kiss in the morning it is just about revolting to me!

4. Folding towels. I am a bit obsessed okay a lot obsessed with folding towels and shirts. I don't honestly know if it is me that is crazy about this or if it is just the way Gregg folds towels and shirts.

5. Locking doors. Okay so I admit, I grew up in West Valley City. And so did my amazing husband. Some could say it is a habit, but sometimes I could walk out the door to get the mail in the middle of the afternoon only to return to a completely locked door (dead bolt and all).

6. It is a toss up on this last one, so I think I am going to squeeze them both in. I hate it when there is 2 Tablespoons left in the milk container (happens all the time) back in the fridge. And this one I have just learned to live with and am working on things on my end, but, I hate really not having a plan. Many people are super spontaneous, and heck I would really like to be too but the Accountant in me always would prefer a plan.....you know there are so many different things to think about and plan out (especially if you plan on a vacation that lasts some time...?), call me crazy.

Thanks. I guess that was not as bad as I thought.

Finally Here to Share!!

We have been waiting for months to get these, thanks to some broken bones and other small items it got pushed off. Luckily, we were able to squeeze this in before another set of broken bones and other miscellaneous mishaps! Let me know which ones you like. I was thinking of getting a few printed on canvas, there are so many good ones to choose from I can't decide. What do you think?? Please share!

Confessions of a Candy Thief

So I am (for some strange reason I still haven't figured out) the Primary chorister in my ward. And let me tell you how much I have to talk myself into this wonderful calling each and every week. It is just fantastic to sit up there every week after week and be a cheerleader trying to get these kids to sing. Some weeks it is great others I am totally solo all afternoon (and I don't have a great voice either).
Our adorable Primary President is just as bubbly as they come. She prepares a little chocolate treat for all of the Primary substitutes each week. They are housed in a little tupperware see through container. She saw me eying them one week and mentioned to me what they were for. She also generously offered to me that if I ever wanted one to go ahead and take one.....she needed them often herself. Well, far be it from me to say no to a chocolate offer! So almost every Sunday I have helped myself (of course trying to be sly about it). Mind you I have only taken one at a time, but this has gone on for quite a while. So a few weeks ago when I saw the little container missing I thought nothing of it. But week after week the little container quickly got put away. So this week I got the hint, I brought my own! I felt really stupid in the back of the room snacking on the oh so irresistable candy corns now available in grocery stores (yummy!). The Primary President casually comes over and in a round about way asks if I am hypoglicemic. NOPE! Just a candy junky. How embarrasing they have hidden the candy container from me! I guess I wasn't so sly after all!

Learn to Drive

Okay, I don't want to offend anyone.......but what the heck is up with Minivan owners? This has ALWAYS been a pet peeve of mine. So if you own a mini van or have a deep hidden desire to own one please enlighten me and don't be offended.
Why is it they always feel like they own the road? They (meaning minivan drivers) never look out for other vehicles and feel like they can just drive and do whatever they please. Half the time they are not watching the road and the other half they are not watching anyone or anything else near the road. Bless their hearts those minivan owners, I can only make my own assumptions as to what is keeping them preoccupied but for the love of pete please watch the road and be a defensive driver?!! Stop pulling out in front of other people going either 5 miles an hour or pull out in front of people going mach 10. Stop edging over into other lanes and go when the light is green!
Sorry, I just had to make my little rant! Thanks, I feel much better now.

Not Again???!!!

Could you say accident prone? Well our little Kaden is definately that. The poor little guy, he broke both his radius and ulna on his right arm in June. He was in a cast for 6 weeks and a splint for 1 week. Then he got it off July 23rd. And wouldn't you know it, he broke both bones again on Wednesday. This time they were worse. The first time he broke them he was riding his scooter. This time he fell off a 3 foot slide on the kindergarten playground, the ones with squishy bottoms!!! I don't know about this kid!

I do know however that this kid is one of the toughest kids I know. He of course cried when he did it, but shortly there after no more tears! I wanted to cry for him. They had to put him to sleep to have the Orthopedic docs put his bones back in place. OUCH!!

Boys are so weird.....as I am sitting here typing I am over hearing Kaden talk to his friend Hayden. He says how do you do it? Kaden says what? Hayden says how do you break your arm? I want to do it! Once again, I guess it is just a boy thing???!
